FAQ

  • How many people can you accommodate in a workshop?

Our workshops work well for groups of nearly any size. Most often, we work in groups of 10 to 30 participants per instructor.  We tailor the format and facilitation style to match your group size and goals, so reach out! We’re happy to get creative.

  • What are some keynote talk topics you offer?

All of our keynotes are customized, humor-forward, and have proven client impact. Our most popular keynote topics include:

    - Yes, And: The Power of Humor and Collaboration

    - Making Complexity Simple: Using Humor to Tackle Big Ideas

    - Laughing Through Change: Navigating Uncertainty with Creativity

We’re happy to customize a keynote to your audience and theme.

  • Is Danger Boat the same as The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2)?

Yes. Danger Boat Productions is the company. The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2) is our flagship show, where we interview policy experts and bring their ideas to life through improv comedy. We offer this same type of show for hire. So if you’d like to bring a T2P2 style of show to your event, get in touch!

  • Who do you cast in your shows?

We cast experienced improvisers who are smart, curious, and great at listening. Many of our cast members have backgrounds in education, public policy, or writing. They’re not just funny – they’re thoughtful, quick-thinking, and committed to making your event a success.

  • Is your humor business appropriate?

Absolutely. Our humor isn’t about making fun of people; it’s about lifting people up. Our performers are professionals who know how to read a room. We keep the humor sharp, inclusive, and on-brand for your organization. We can be as bold or buttoned-up as your audience requires.

Even serious topics benefit from a little laughter. Whatever the topic or occasion, we are empathetic, positive and respectful.

  • Does improv mean my colleagues or attendees will be put on the spot?

Not at all. In our shows, the performers are the ones on stage. In our workshops, participation is encouraged but never forced. We create a supportive, low-pressure environment where people can engage at their comfort level.

  • How much do your services cost?

Pricing depends on the format, duration, and level of customization. We’ll give you a clear, upfront quote based on your goals and needs. No surprises – just great work.

  • I'm still nailing down details of my event. Should I wait to contact you?

No need to wait! We’re happy to talk early in your planning process. We can offer ideas, explore options, or even hold a date while you finalize the details.
