The Theater of Public Policy: Please Be Good at Philanthropy with Jen Ford Reedy
There’s no playbook for how to run a foundation well…or is there?
Join us for an evening of conversation and comedy, where we’ll explore the ins and outs of strategic giving with Jen Ford Reedy, President of the Bush Foundation and author of Please Be Good at Philanthropy. Host and moderator Tane Danger will ask questions about how to do grantmaking transparently and effectively; what makes a good board; and what role foundations can and should play in shaping our communities. Then, our cast will improvise their way through unscripted scenes that recap the conversation and draw out new perspectives.
No matter your background, we’ll all learn a lot about being generous—whether with millions of dollars in grants or just with your laughter at an improv comedy show.
